Solvent Recovery Plant
In stripper system, we can remove only low boiling solvent or low volatile solvent having boiling point less than 100°C. Low Boiling Solvent mainly present in Pharmaceutical, Pesticide, Chemical industry are Methanol, Ethanol, Acetone, MDC, Acetonitrile, Acetone, IPA, EA, etc.. Through stripper, Low boil solvent from effluent water can be recovered from top side of the stripper column and condense into condenser with some water traces. If High boiling solvent present then it comes in the bottom of stripper and it will be transferred into MEE followed by ATFD.
Solvent Recovery Plant Application:
- To recover costly solvents for further reuse.
- To reduce low boil COD load from high COD/TDS effluent streams.
Solvent Recovery System Consists of Following Equipment:
- A. Reboiler.
- B. Stripper Column.
- C. Flash Tank.
- D. Surface Condenser
