Sludge Thickener
Sludge thickner is an unit Operation for treatment of WTP/WWTP. Sludge thickener is is Thickening of sludge increases its solids content and reduces the volume of free water thereby minimizing the unit load on downstream processes such as digestion and dewatering.
Process Description :-
Sludge flows into the thickening tank, and eventually, it removes excess water from the solids collecting at the bottom.
