Moving Bed Bio Reactor
Moving Bed Bio Reactor is a unit Process usually used in Waste water and Sewage Treatment, MBBR media which should be inserted in to Activated Sludge Process used in waste water and sewage treatment plant. Moving Bed Bio Reactor is used for the removal of COD, BOD and Nutrient.
Process Description :-
Moving Bed Bio Reactor is a media in Activated Sludge Processes doing its role as a catalyst to enhancing reduction of Nutrients like BOD and COD and also requirement of Retention time is very low as compare to Conventional Activated Sludge Process. MBBR process is a type of wastewater treatment process for treating sewage or industrial wastewater using aeration and a biological flock composed of bacteria and protozoa. In a activated sludge process, microorganisms use oxygen to break down organic matter (food) for their growth and survival. Over time and as wastewater moves through the aeration basin, food (BOD) decreases with a resultant increase in cell mass (MLSS concentration).
Target Impurities :-
- COD
- BOD
- Amonical Nitrogen
Advantages :-
- Low Footprint as Compare to Conventional System
- With low Opex Cost Desirable results can be achieved.
- Supernant comes from ASP is use for Gardening.
- Reduction of BOD & COD can be easily done.
