Filter Press
Filter Press is an unit Operation for treatment of WTP/WWTP. Filter press is used to separate moisture from wet sludge which is coming from primary and secondary clarifier.
Process Description :-
A chamber of filter press is developed for the dewatering of sludge. It is composed of a certain number of plates on which a filter cloth is attached on both sides. By placing these plates next to each other, “chambers” are formed into which the sludge is pumped.This dewatering process takes place under pressure.
